Lamborghini’s Questionable Splash Page

Want to ride? No.

What kind of imagery helps you sellĀ  a $200,000 sports car? What kind of emotions do you try to evoke? One would most likely choose thoughts of excitement, bring to mind images of sex and speed, envy and lust. Most would try to appeal to the risk takers, those young and successful who have a taste for only the finest life has to offer. Yes, this is what most people would do. Lamborghini however, decided to put a picture of a cowboy riding a bull with huge nuts on their front page and to ask “ready to ride? Yes or no”…that is so totally gay. That aside, they have given their potential customers the option to choose “no” and leave before ever seeing the actual site. Good job guys. Not that I’ve come to expect much more from a company who, when they say they’ve fixed a lot of their product’s problems mean that now the doors only sometimes fall off.

Check their page out. Its funny.
